OK, if its a mid engine rendering, why is there a hood scoop/vents on the front hood of the yellow and the silver (last) one?

The red looks most plausible, the motor trend silver car looks like an amazing concept but I doubt GM would get that crazy with the design. Although it would be nice.

That hood scoop is the vegetable crisper.

Let's hope it doesn't resemble any of these renderings! I'd take the "Ute" over them!

The Silver Motor Trend car looks great, but it could never sit that low without a hydraulic suspension to raise it at lower speeds for speed bumps, etc.

Outstanding. Looks very nice, indeed.

Since presumably the front engined cars will stay in production, I hope GM makes a version of this mid-engine car that is a no-holds barred track car. If it costs 175K, so be it. Make 100 of them each year. GM needs a regular production US super car--one that will never win a comparo just because it is good for the money, but is just plain good, without excuse, especially since Ford is making this new GT....

Frankly, I don't like any of those renders and I'll wait until we see some sort of REAL prototype or concept from Chevy.

There is a poll if you follow the link. However, the poll needs a "None of the above" option.

Either the Motor Trend or the Top Speed rendering looks good to me.

They all look great, but Chevrolet can't compete in Ferrari's market and would be crazy to try.
