Kinda reminds me of the "Coyote" from Hardcastle & McCormick.

I admit I'm a little behind the news of the Zora, but is it realistic to expect a whole new body for the car? That would be major money for possibly not as many sales as say, a Z. Again, I'm just asking.

Rendering = some artist's fantasy. Nothing more. There's no more reason to pay attention to this than a 12 year old's drawings. Neither have any relationship to reality.

IF the Zora ever becomes reality, and IF the Zora is a mid-engined car as rumored, it will need an all new body. It will be a totally different car, and it would likely cost more to try to design it to fit current parts than to design it from scratch.

Way better than the designs touted by Car and Driver several months ago. Those sucked, these actually work for me and I'm not the easiest person to please.

I will say that I'm not that much of a fan of what I call the "design school of angles and edges" that is so much in vogue today. Consequently I'd tone it down a bit but it still says Corvette.

This Zora appears to be mid engine.
Not so sure Chevy is ready to do this.

I kinda like the rendering on top. I think GM should go with that. Oh wait, they already did.

That rendering looks OK, but whatever they come up with really doesn't matter to me since it will most likely be priced well above what I am willing to pay for a car.

While I do happen to like this one...Whether GM goes this direction or not, I think it shows the proportions of what a mid-engine V-8 would require. The Lotus Elise was a great little car but remember it ran a Toyota 1.8 litre inline 4 cylinder engine. Even if is was to be scaled up to be a 3000 pound car, with those proportions, a V-6 would be all that could fit behind those seats.

There have been some not so flattering renditions out there, and this one of the better ones. If Chevrolet does come out with a mid-engine car, will it need to be designed to be an electric powered corvette as well?
