But honestly, I doubt Tadge would forget who I am. If not by face or name, but reputation. I did get his attention once, in a way you don't usually forget.

^^ I actually believe every thing you say about Tadge. Now I am sure you can answer this: In the Ask Tadge section every answer he supplies sounds very technical and he sounds like he knows EVERY aspect of the car. Would it be the answers he is supplying are coming from the actual people and he is just repeating what he is told?

That being said, most of the answers you see are coming from the actual GM engineers working on the specific component, and sometimes even those guys are getting answers from the supplier.
GM more than any other OEM I've worked with believes in the "Full Service Supplier" mantra. This means outside of Powertrain (which is an in-house division) and Body (also an in-house division) GM relies fully on the suppliers expertise to not only to design the part, but troubleshoot, and launch it as well.
Therefore most of the people at GM are what we call "Design and Release" engineers which is a fancy way of saying they track suppliers and basically are project management type people with sign-off capability. D&Rs (as they are known in the industry) do a little more at Chrysler, and a lot at Ford. This is because Ford doesn't really have many "Resident" engineers (that is suppliers who sit on site) while Chrysler has some, and GM mandates it (and in fact the supplier resident actually releases the part in GM's E2 "E Squared" system).

To me, it doesn't look much different then the C7.
I would just make it look more like a Lambo! But then again I'm still a huge fan of Lamborghini

Some great new pics for us and a speculative article from Road and Track. (The ME is not the next generation Corvette/C8 though.)
Enjoy!

It's hard to beat a Lambo in the eye-candy dept.
