Safety Car
The ring is played out in my opinion. There is more to a drivers road car then setting fast lap times at the ring. You have to live with the car.

Update
Visited Laguna Seca this morning... NO admittance due to it being "private event"... I was turned away. Also observed from several hundred yards, black smoke billowing from a Vette stopped on the track... fire dept. called.

Heading back up to the track. They have two transport trucks. I've seen two of the big winged ZR1 and two of the smaller winged ZR1. Also a Camaro ZL1-1LE. Jim Mero and Alex McDonald are there to drive. I've heard Alex is even faster than Jim, if thats possible. When I went to sit in front of the garage's they pulled down the garage doors. Security is tight. Can't tell if the mid-engined Zora is there but I doubt it. I'll report later.

There were both ZR1 cars there today. Also a ZO6/ZO7, Camaro ZL1-1LE, and a Stingray with some Grand Sport Aero on it. The ZR1's were definitely much louder than the ZO6. And it sounded like a automatic or DCT gearbox as the shifts were very fast and not a manual transmission delay. I'm guessing a LT4 with the 2.65 liter Eaton Supercharger. Definitely not a 4 valve twin cam sound. They were flying around this place. Very,very fast through the corners.
