I highly doubt it. There's audible supercharger whine in the spy videos at Laguna Seca.

Mercury Racing has been building DOHC LS engines for years.

all indications from the guy at the track was that it was definitely a supercharged engine. More likely for the ME car if anything.

That's not a ZR1 engine, that's a Mercury Marine Crate engine that you can buy right now..

And you know this is that engine because you have a friend who has a friend who works at GM who knows someone in the design team right?

Well it gives a good reason for a huge, aggressive hood bulge. And it's GM's way of appreciating the nostalgic customers like us guys who like a manual transmission. Pull start is old school.

Nice try. This is the Mercury Racing SB4.

To those who said (like I thought) that you'd never pull 750hp out of a naturally aspirated motor, this one produces 775@7500 on pump gas!

John Kaase sells crate engines in excess of 800hp N/A. Hot Rod did a comparison of his P51 and Boss Nine last April. The P51 made 805hp but the Boss Nine made 914hp. He advertises up to 1,000 streetable hp N /A and 1,500 blown.
