Well the new ZL1 1LE is amazing and laid down a crazy lap time for such a big car. Also the Ford GT uses a form of DSSV dampers.

Why would Anybody order standard adjustable shocks over MRC technology? I thought they were a real track guys solution in a heavier car like the ZL1 1le. Perhaps they are that option for the guy doing his own. The formula doesn't change!

I had dssv in my zl1 1le. Amazing for spirited driving. Not so much for just riding down the road. I actually hit my head a couple times on surface streets. If you’re gonna live on the track, dssv. If you’re going to drive your car other places as well, mag ride. Trust me.

+1... the Dssv tech is for the track. You would not enjoy them on the road.

Pretty sure GM and Tremec didn’t design a new DCT transmission for this car just to switch back to the 10 speed TC auto

I'm just hoping to see that kind of capability somewhere in the C8. I'm hoping the more serious wing isn't just an ornament either.

Hopefully we’ll see it in the ZR1. I was hoping for it in the C7 ZR1 but it ended up being a GT cruiser and not a track monster. I have a Camaro ZL1 1LE and the DSSV is amazing.

The advantage of manually adjustable shocks is that you can change the handling balance with them, i.e., softer in the rear, stiffer in the front, whereas with the MRC you are stuck with whatever the factory gives you. Just another tuning tool.

OMG why are people scared of the 8 speed DCT? I don't get it...all super cars have DCT transmissions not old tech automatic gear boxes with torque converters!
