Zora vs ZR1

Zora vs ZR1
Both the Zora and ZR1 supposedly coming out in the next year or 2 or 3 or 4...smh. The ZR1 is reported to have a starting price of $105k. The Zora $65-95k. Which one would you get?

C8 would be my choice yet the c7 zr1 is awesome as well

The top one!
WHERE DO I SEND THE DEPOSIT?
no problem though because GM would NEVER allow a new corvette to look like that......they just like to pretend with concept cars, why leap frog other sports cars in design for a change.

Depends on several things.
Is the ZR1 street freindly as well as track fast? If not streetable (being able to take trips in) and only a beast then not the ZR1.
The C7 ZR1 will have similar storage space as the current C7, I need that for the trips we take. The Mid Engine will have very little storage space compared to the C8 so it would be out unless they can pull off some miricle the other mid engine cars can not.
It the ZR1 is about the same price jump as the ZO6 over the Grand sport, which puts the base about $90,000 then yes to the ZR1.
I had a 2011 ZR1, a great car and I got it for just over 100k w/ a sticker of over 120k and I lost a lot on it. So I do not want to repeat that as the C8 in 5 years will beat the C7 ZR1 and value will plummet again.
If all goes poorly as described above, I will get a NEw Grand Sport with many options and perhaps take it to a tuner like Lingenfelter or Calaway.

Mid engine C8 will be my next Vette. Not interested in the ZR1. My C7 Z will keep me smiling until the mid engine comes out.

If GM releases the ZR1 and the Zora at roughly the same time, they better not make many ZR1's.
I don't think that will happen. We won't see the Zora any sooner than 2 years after the ZR1 is released.
