The wheels are unique and, therefore, kinda cool.
However, I can't help thinking cleaning them would be a royal PITA.

Indeed! Gun metal with a machined face. Very complex design, mostly likely cast, not forged. Unless they are some rare aftermarket wheel I've never seen, these are probably actual production wheels since going to the trouble of making the molds is not cheap. I like 'em....a bit of Ferrari and Lambo in the design.

I suspect they're production wheels too.
Hate the thought of trying to reach inside to clean the inner part of wheel...gonna take a long brush to reach.

These wheels are consistent in design with other Cadillac concept car wheels. There are quite a few double layered hierarchical wheel configurations in some of the other Cadillac concept cars.

Agreed. Those wheels are going to make ceramic brakes very popular.

The wheels may be camo'd as well. The shiny outer spokes may not even be part of the actual wheel but a wheel cover clipped onto the wheel to disguise it. Notice there aren't any center caps in the wheels which might mean the shiny parts are just clipped onto the wheel at the hub.

Could be...but wait to see them chromed (you know, just like Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, etc.) to satisfy the whiners here.

Minor point but I dig the exhaust. Never did love the combined central exhaust tips.

The higher res shots I've seen indicate that these wheels are for real...nothing is clipped on. Whether or not they are the actual production wheels for this car remains to be seen.

if these are the real c8 quarter panels, there is another panel or engine access between them and the door.

More like being introduced Jan 2019 as a 2020.
