You got that right Red-C6 of Jax, that ME will be revealed in January, 2019, specifically in Detroit @ NAIAS on January 13, 2019. Just 428 more days of patience (which none of us Corvette owners ever have).

Has anyone on the forum that is good with photo edit software taken these photos and eliminated the camo and replaced it with paint to get a better look of the car?

Default Got a Question....

So this is supposed to be a MID-ENGINE vehicle.... correct?

Then what is the air intake on the hood going to be doing? What's up front that needs cooling? It's been in all the spy shots.....

If the engine air intake starts in the door (as this photo shows in the big red oval circle) what's the hood intake going to do? Cool down the luggage in the front trunk? Or are there electric motors on the front wheels making this the first all wheel drive Corvette?

Chevy taking a hint from Maranello and the LaFerrari?

Holdhard, just because there is a random piece of foam there does not mean it is an inlet. Obviously, it is just put there for misleading and misdirections of body curves. It serves no significance to the true body underneath but only to distract. Trust us, this is a Mid Engine and no, there is no massive, shaker inlet for engine cooling in the “trunk”

"Obvious"? Nothing is really obvious at this time. It's actually likely an air exit vent just like many other ME supercars have.

Keep in mind, this is only the BASE model as well. There WILL be a higher performance variant, you'll see.

Those were mis-identified as the rear quarters, they are actually the front fenders.

hard to wrap my head around that being front fenders by their design. Where did you hear this?

Not too sure that could be a front fender.
There's a whole lot real estate above those wheel openings, and awful flat on top. They could be just partial pieces of a panel too.. a 3D printed/CNC'd section for a parts supplier.
