C8 standalone car?
if the C8 mid-engine car makes it to production - will it be a stand-alone car? or will the C7 stay in production as a lower priced sports car - with the C8 serving as Chevrolet's new halo car ?

IMO the mid engine car will be the top of whatever "C#" we're in at the time, most likely called "Zora" or something that references Dutov. The base.. or Stingray C8 will just be a progression of the C7 (engine in front of the driver just like every Corvette has been heading toward 70 years) but the top dog will be the mid engine car that'll be a low production (well under 10,000 units per year) relatively affordable supercar that'll fall in the $150,000-$199,995 range.
