FAKE NEWS!
The things people come up with are unreal sometimes!
Auto Evolution published the following today...
Report: C8 Corvette To Start Production in January 2018
Not operational since July, the Bowling Green plant that makes the C7 Corvette is gearing up to restart production in January 2019. According to the Bowling Green Daily News, the factory reopens on January 22, with 2019 model year production kicking off on January 29, including the C7 ZR1 and the C8.

Yet, the Bowling Green Daily News didn't say that, actually...

I don't think "fake news" is the proper term. Maybe poor reporting. But fake news is intended to mislead. I do not think there was any malicious intent here.
Edit: I don't see where they were off??? THey said in the first paragraph...opening Nov. 6....and starting production of 2019s late Jan....

This statement comes across as misleading to me...
"According to the Bowling Green Daily News, the factory reopens on January 22, with 2019 model year production kicking off on January 29, including the C7 ZR1 and the C8."
To me, the misleading here is them us that the Bowling Green Daily News reported something that they really didn't report, which is that the C7 ZR1 and C8 will both be included in the 2019 MY production beginning January 29. I guess the intent would be click bait. Bad reporting at best.
