I'm not sure the manufacturers have ever asked US what we want and I wouldn't expect them to start now.

So true -- if that's all they did today we'd all be enjoying smoother-riding buggies, with high-performance whips, and nice-fitting "Depends" for our steeds.

Well an Aventador can fit a 6.5L V12 and AWD system into a mid engine platform, why can't GM?

i'm assuming you would want that to weigh 1000kg and have a starting price of $60k too? gm can build whatever it wants, but how many would they sell at;

"2017 Lamborghini Aventador/MSRP
From $399,500"

Well if you can live with 1200 kG, are handy with tools and have a $60K budget, then I would suggest you build the Factory Five Racing GTM

My latest reading on this technology being developed by Koenigsegg called “Free Valve” is that it uses pneumatic operation with electronic control and gives about a 45% increase in power over conventional cam controlled engines. This would make a converted LT1 about as powerful as an LT4.
