i suspect the poster intended to type "may take".

Not a poster. That was done by the site builder/maintainer as part of the descriptive words defining what the C8 forum is about.

Also repeated on the top of this page.

No biggie, it just showed me how bad my OCD/attention to detail really is!

I find the grammer on the forum to be quite well. Got to go, I'm installing new break pads and took a brake to see what's going on.
