But the GM side of the project with the 9 speed transmission they designed & built did not go so well. Don't think anyone has a lock on employing good engineers.
Yep.....Ford declined the GM 9 speed for the FWD, and they(Ford) decided to keep using their old Ford designed transmission for their FWD cars.
