Default C8 Announced, Everyone Seems to have Missed This

At 9:02 there is a slide that says: "This is the last front engine Corvette before the next gen mid-engine C8 Corvette comes out."

So GM and Chevrolet have basically announced the C8 mid-engine Corvette.

^^^ Well, good find. I believed we all missed it or didn’t get around to watch the whole video. Security sure feels good, especially since this is a credible, GM sourced PowerPoint. Just to confirm what we knew for quite some time very cool! January 2019 can’t come soon enough! Really hope we get some more spy shots very soon!

I don't believe this is GM sourced. I believe the PowerPoint display was done by 813Productions.

Oh, lol. I assumed this was the power point presented that day on the projector! I don’t know who 813Production is. Well, then are these statements credible or valid?

GM did not produce the video or the slides in the video. The creator of the video made the slides and is only speculating. It's a shame the video creator couldn't even find a C7 emblem for his slides.

Another clue...the creator of the slides also speculates that the price is not yet available but that he thinks it will "easily exceed $130,000."

where do you think msrp will start? You may already know this!!! I personally think it’ll start much lower but easily end up with options over 125k.

I am guessing around $120,000 but looking at GM’s (real document), it comes standard with carbon-ceramic brakes, and a lot of visible carbon fiber. Thinking $150K loaded!

Base MSRP on the 2013 ZR1 was $111,600. My guess is that we're looking at a base price of just under $120,000...but the adds will bring that number up substantially.

This all day long... what an amateur attempt at creating "fake news"... even the music bed was a cheap, low-production track that GM Marketing would never be caught dead being associated with. Epic Fail.

I'm closing this thread. It's full of misleading and WRONG information. There is no need to discuss and speculate on lies, especially when they're not directly from Chevrolet.
