Default We Need The Next ME “In the Wild” Sightings

I admit it, that I am in need of a fix, specifically seeing some new and different ME in the wild pictures.

It has been two months since the McDonald’s ones. Which I am sure were GM deliberately staged.

GM, give us some loving, for we need another fix, especially one (or more) which has lost some part of its camo-cladding.

There have been a number of V8 swaps done to Fiero's:

I am starting to think that with the ZR1 two-part reveal, both in November, that GM wants all chatter to be about the ZR1, and ordered its mid-engines “into the barn” for a while. I am guessing they will come out of the closet in early spring for two reasons, e.g., March 1st ZR1 production and all the hubbub it will create, and second, for warmer weather testing.

So GM, please proove me wrong, and bring us a few Christmas time sightings of the ME. PLEASE!!!

Funny - a few days ago coming out of the parking lot at work, I spied what at first I thought was one of the ME C8 prototypes. It had the same camo psychedelic wrap and front and rear black shrouds. I was doing about 40 mph and it was already dark with not great street lighting so I was almost convinced it was the ME. As I drove by (couldn't stop - he was turning at the light and I was in the intersection going the opposite direction) I noticed the door was completely exposed so it could not have been the ME Vette since that probably has an air intake built in. I concluded it was probably the next gen R8 as it resembled those proportions and shape.

That's the second pre-production vehicle I've seen in the last couple of years in the Lake Forest area in the same type of camo config.
