The first rendering looks like a McLaren. I just hope the ME does not have traditional doors (meaning they open non-traditionally).

firstvettesoon, love this yellow one. Could you please put onto it, the ME wheels we first saw on the McDonald’s parking lot version? Thank you!

The mules seem to have traditional doors. Not sure they would change for production.

The render is a mash-up with A8 type side vents and a McLaren nose.

I know these renderings are just that, but I sure like the one in post #6, in white. I now have a C6, thinking of upgrading to a new C7, but if these pipe dreams are close to reality, I am waiting for the C8. And I don’t think I’m alone. I wonder how many others are like me. If it’s many, and I do think that, surely the C7 sales are going to be greatly depressed causing big discounts on the last C7’s. That then will give me the same dilemma, buy the C8, or take advantage of the big discounts on the last C7s. What to do, what to do. If I didn’t have my C6, I would get the C7, but I think I’ll wait it out and see when the C8 is disclosed.

FirstVette, nice job with the renders!

With that said, in between the front and rear tires, and below the side windows, that area is too chunky/clunky looking, for lack of a better term. IMOO...

Again, excellent job on a render where we can have an actual discussion about it.

Hey e,-

Here is the F5 with the McDonalds wheels !

But just don't "love" it too much... this IS the Hennessy Venom F5 - not a C8 render

It does look cool but is a "supercar", in terms of function. It is small and has a tight cabin and would not be as "drive-able" as the C8 may be...but we don't know yet. I know I would have trouble getting in and out of that thing... Also not sure how good a daily driver it would be. Also...1600 HP !

As I said, it is a bit extreme for a Corvette IMO which is why I toned it down a little in the render and made it fit the proportions of the Mule.

The nose has a similar design to the RED nose parts we have seen and overall, the F5...from the side...looks very Corvette-ish...to me at least.

Thanks. That's all these are meant for. I agree, there will be some refinement in the real car I am sure. Maybe next time we get some NEW mule pics, we will see some details better.

There are many ways to skin this cat... or fish if it is a Stingray or Mako ?

Using the Hennessey Venom F5 as a "starting point" is certainly a great place to start... and finish!

I'd love to be able to afford something that looked (and performed) like this:

I like it - not too "busy". "Busy" (lots of zigs, zags, scoops, vents and fins) turns some people on but it adds weight and cost and detracts from the overall shape.

I still think the Ferrari 458 Italia is the best looking Ferrari since the 1962 250 GTO - it is simple and elegant. The big air holes in the rear quarter-panels on the 488 destroy that cars looks, IMHO. All the Lambos and the Ford GT look like cockroaches to me - just plain ugly. The only exception is the Miuri, which is beautiful. Sometimes your first idea is the best.

If they could do something akin to the 458 with the "streamline panel" look of the C7, that would work for me just fine.

Wow tough crowd. I think 1st vettsoon did a great job! He is not claiming it to be his design.

He spent time to give those of us some idea of what we night expect.

I think your criticism is pretty harsh.

Let see what you can do if your so critical of this .

Too many jerks on the forum that have to be a *** for no reason.

I just don't get it??

^^^^

You're right, I should not have been so harsh and not said "keep your day job"....so I apologize to the originator for that. I think my statement came from the fact the title was named "sexiest Render ever" even if it was followed by a question mark.

That been said, I'm still not liking the rendering. It's too busy, a mishmash design and looks outdated. And I'm not crazy about the Hennessey car as well. It's also too busy and looks kind of goofy. Might work for a tiny manufacturer that might sell 100 units a year but not for car that will be produced in much higher volumes.

...so, adding this here for discussion...a different render I did that follows the lines of the mule with some of the "known" details. Again, only a rough idea to get the imagination going and it is only a manipulation and mash-up of other car details, not a CAD render, because I don't want to spend too much time on these things!

Maybe some folks can see other details in the mules or suggest what could be hiding.

I am still liking these earlier, sexy, same vehicle, ME renderings.

This is a good one for sure but more like a c9 or c10 to me

Just seems a bit too extreme for a corvette...but ya never know. They did say it would be evolutionary.
