based on that image I'm not seeing much in the way of mounts for a radiator or routes for coolant passages. I would suspect they will be using many of the same cooling techniques from the C7

Although I'm sure that this is driving GM nuts, this is probably the most exciting thread I've read since I bought my Z06 in 2016. Thank-you to ZERV whoever you are.

How do we know this is CAD drawings for a Corvette and not some other car. Is there anything that says Corvette or GM anywhere?

If not GM drawings, why are GM lawyers threatening legal action if they are not taken down.

This close-up of the kick sill is from a spy photo taken at the GM test track.
Here's another close-up of the kick sill from a photo on the street.
Here's a close-up of the kick sill from the first set of CAD renderings posted by ZERV.
I've also highlighted other details using red circles.
1) Upper shock/spring mount
2) Right door pillar
3) Mounts on the tunnel
Here's the latest CAD rendering. The three details noted above are highlighted with red circles, so these two CAD renderings are from the same model(s).
Bottom line - These renderings are of the car seen in the spy shots from the GM test track and on the street.

The visible external details match the GM test mules that have been driving around. Of course we don't *know* it will be designated "Corvette" but that's the best guess given its design and appearance.

However there is limited legal action they can take. The material isn't really copyrighted. The person who took it broke an NDA for sure, and there are consequences for that (civil not criminal), but any person not bound to a document with GM has no civil penalty. GM has not copyrighted the document so it technically doesn't violate the DMCA, however most places don't want a protracted legal battle so they remove it.

And to all those that keep bringing up the question of whether or not the ME will be a Corvette or a Caddy, I just say sit back, relax... and enjoy the ride (pardon the pun).

Also one of the photos somewhere else on the internet shows the LT7. I'm guessing the LT7 is the code name for the NA DOHC 6.2L monster GM is making.

Copyright is automatic and IANAL but I don't think they'd have an infringement case in any event. A blurry partial screen shot is, or should be, about as Fair Use as it gets.

The real question for the last cad is whether the center portion of the frame is composite or aluminum. The front clip is aluminum but the center seems like it could be carbon fiber or some other composite.

They have a car to market and need to have tight control of technical information so the Marketing guys have something to work with when it comes time to convince folks to buy an ME.
People continue to overlook the possibility the first ME might be designated a "Cadillac."

(The image isn’t showing up)Nope, it’s a turbo. But it could still be a 6.2 DOHC. That would be really, really awesome. Ya know, Europeans call the Coyote V8 big. I wonder what they’d say about a 392 Hemi...

For those who wish to continue to debate about whether they are planted, a leak, or not, Zymurgy created the linked thread.
I’m now tapped out on that subject, but look forward to more about CAD leaks, what is in them, what can learn from them.
