Cool drawings...

Is the engine transverse or inline?

Earlier CADs suggest it’ll be longitudinally mounted (inline).

Looks like one of the NACA ducts on a Ferrari F40!

I’ve done a little test and am convinced these ZERV pics are screen shots using a cell phone from a close distance from a monitor. Others have suggested this as well. These first two pics below are from my post #232 above and the bottom same two were created by taking iPhone screen shots of the same #232 posted pics displayed on my iPad. Look close the screen shots are obviously very pixelated. With any distance away from the monitor you can make the pixelation disappear.

You think those are brake ducts? I was thinking those looked like vents from the wheel well to the rear bumper to reduce the pressure build-up in the wheel well, but that’s just my guess.

Very interesting thread. With the C8 on the horizon, I wonder why anyone wouldn't hold off on a new vette purchase including the ZR1. If the C8 ends up having an epic motor, it may just get me back into a vette.

Keith Cornett of CorvetteBlogger shared this blog earlier:

http://www.corvetteblogger.com/2017/...r-c7-corvette/

Keith always suspicioned even though the pictures in the patented system were of the C7, that it was going out with the ME. And very intersting tous now, that while there were five C7 graphics, a giveaway was one of those graphics showed a coil-over.

Keith credit his blog to work done by Don Sherman @Car and Driver, as follows:

The hood vents are open, the front opening/grille is open, the front splitter is all the way down and the rear spoiler is all the way up; this provides maximum downforce. You hit a straight and the suspension says “hey, we aren’t turning anymore!”. The hood vents and front opening closes, the front splitter tucks away, and the spoiler goes back down, all to reduce drag and provide much higher straightaway speeds. Basically DRS(drag reduction system) in F1 cars and the McLaren P1.

At worst I can't see this ending very well, and at best I'm just left confused.

Most auto mags are not posting anything about these CAD images out of respect for GM.

Tadge and Jim Mero voluntarily answer some of our questions in detail in the ask Tadge section and we continue thanking them.

It's been acknowledged that GM hates leaks like this because it undermines millions spent in development and their marketing plans, plus it could affect their sales and give competitors an edge

yet we let this thread continue and post more leaked pics about their upcoming model and we expect them to continue answering the Ask Tadge section lol.

I'm curious about the ME like the rest of us of course but I also want the brand to succeed.

Threads have been locked over much less.
