I think you are correct, but I think it's upsidedown........when I turned it over it looked like a headlight, at first I thought it was a taillight....

This lamp has a corner angle to wrap around the side a little unlike the c7 I think.

I superimposed it over the CAD of the bottom of the car. I think I got them roughly in the correct place but the angles are so different it is difficult to get an exact match. Also I think we are looking at top views of the headlamp area vs bottom view of the frame so it wont be exact.

Let me know what you all see...

It looks like the part of the front fascia immediately below the head lamp assembly to me.

By the headlight wrapping around the side (we separately/already see this approach on the ME’s rear tailights), IF the “side-facing part of the headlight bucket” were to contain the marker light, this would avoid the need to have the separate, “C7 front-fascia side marker light” — hence less money, fewer parts, less to assemble, and most of all, a cleaner appearance.

The lamp will make up the corner of the car (visable from the side) and will include the amber side markers that are now in the fender arches of the C7. These and the wrapping tail lights will get rid of those tacked on looking parts.

The Corvette Plant pics are identity unknown but they did crack down on security after the pics leaked. No idea about the CAD images.

The BGA front and rear fascia pictures were taken by a temporary, outside, construction worker who was part of the 13 week plant gut and rebuild.

Not sure if you guys remember about 6 months ago a dealership salesman posted pictures of what he claimed where C8 fenders?

I must say the fender in the CAD looks very similar to the photos this guy posted 6 months ago.

The internet is lying to you.

The sketch was made by a member her got2bblu a while back based on spy pics. Not sure why he put Zerv on it except for naming it after the so called project name.

If it was made by ZERV the CAD poster, he missed some obvious details... of course to mis lead us...yes...

That sure is beautiful. Trouble is, it won't stay on the ground at speed.
