Looks very similar to the C7... surprised.

This lamp has a corner angle to wrap around the side a little unlike the c7 I think.

fast and rough attempt to try to visualize the position of the latest CAD image...
I superimposed it over the CAD of the bottom of the car. I think I got them roughly in the correct place but the angles are so different it is difficult to get an exact match. Also I think we are looking at top views of the headlamp area vs bottom view of the frame so it wont be exact.
Let me know what you all see...

By the headlight wrapping around the side (we separately/already see this approach on the ME’s rear tailights), IF the “side-facing part of the headlight bucket” were to contain the marker light, this would avoid the need to have the separate, “C7 front-fascia side marker light” — hence less money, fewer parts, less to assemble, and most of all, a cleaner appearance.

Drifting
The lamp will make up the corner of the car (visable from the side) and will include the amber side markers that are now in the fender arches of the C7. These and the wrapping tail lights will get rid of those tacked on looking parts.

The BGA front and rear fascia pictures were taken by a temporary, outside, construction worker who was part of the 13 week plant gut and rebuild.

If this is the mounting bracket and assembly, then the lamp follows the slope of the hood up and back since those blue horseshoe shaped brackets are flat and mounted at the same angle as the top of the hood.
Note the LEFT image, - top front- and note the blue part with the straps. The very top front edge that angles back and up is the same piece.

I must say the fender in the CAD looks very similar to the photos this guy posted 6 months ago.

Yours Zervy?
The internet says this belongs to our dear ZERV. Confused.

The internet is lying to you.
The sketch was made by a member her got2bblu a while back based on spy pics. Not sure why he put Zerv on it except for naming it after the so called project name.
If it was made by ZERV the CAD poster, he missed some obvious details... of course to mis lead us...yes...
