Great choice FVS, and answers a question on another thread as to whether the ME would look okay with stripes.
Yes, to a power of a zillion!

The cat eyes headlights are a very nice touch.

Damn, man you have some serious skill. I'm really enjoying your adjustments and tweaks on this. This latest one I'm really liking. I can't wait to see what you come up with for the 3/4, side and rear renders. Keep up the great work.

Can you pump up the front hood...it's too low for production in my opinion...
Great work...

FVS, Really amazing work and for the life of me I can't imagine how you do this without building a 3D surface. Reflections, lighting, and detailes are all surface contour driven. I'm very familiar with CGI, but in my world it's always done in 3D. I don't think I'm too far off topic since I'm complimenting the results although mystified by your process. Keep it up. Very impressive.

I think the render is pretty accurate as far as how low the front hood will be. Tadge mentioned for the C7 that they are sensitive to the hood height, and work to bring it down for better visibility. With no engine in there they can get it down further. This is generally the way ME cars are designed: move the cabin forward and lower the front hood.

Thanks for at least considering my suggestion to raise the hood...
Keep up the great work.

Love the low hood but isn't there laws about hood height related to pedestrian safety? Is there an exemption 'cause the European ME's are low. Been wondering if this applies to the ME.

There are European pedestrian safety laws, but they relate to a pedestrian hitting a part of the engine without enough "padding" between the engine and the hood. Without an engine in there it does not apply.

It should be approximately the same as the 488 maybe a touch higher overall for more ground clearance...at least when driving slow. They should have an auto drop mechanism for above 40mph or so to drop the whole car 2in !
You'll be able to tell better in the coming new side view.

Wow, these renderings are amazing, great work. Sure that GM is not too happy that some have figured out what we think it will look like! Think its time they throw us a bone with more of the car out in the open
