I love the stripes in your new Avatar render, but while they are great I am not sure they are traditional Vette. Outside of the 96' Grand Sport I can't think of any edition that came with stripes. Stripes like those are more Viper these days than Vette. That said, they look damn good.

Thanks. I am going to try a more Corvetty stripe next, but don't the c7s have a stripe option? I know the c7 Grand sports have several stripe and hash options, or am I wrong?

Every C7, except for the ZR1, has a factory option of a small hood stripe and complete full length stripes. The ZR1 only has a hood stinger stripe option.

- C2 - Certain years had a single fat stripe with small pin stripes on each side.
- C4 - 96' Grand Sport - Single fat stripe with small pin stripes on each side.
- C6 - Certain ones, (seemingly mostly rentals) had an abbreviated stripe on the hood. Unsure of what others may have them.

Stripes vs design
I have concerns about the way this thread is devolving. In a thread about design, I was criticized for posting pictures and making other points about DESIGN that were deemed irrelevant.
I believe there is already a thread about "stripes" and, or, how people want to spec their cars. And I think there are some big discrepancies in what we've seen in the camo'd test cars and the renderings posted by generous participants, FVS and others.
NAMELY, the mouth/grill on the prototypes appears to be huge. The trapezoidal cooling grills on the right and left appear to be non symmetrical and larger in height than even the enormous grill. The rear quarter panel cooling intake shape still doesn't account for key details in the Pimp's description, NAMELY (and I'm paraphrasing) "the top of the scoop DOES NOT drop down immediately but is horizontal." Also I believe he noted the side scoop is not symmetrical, but goes further aft and down before turning back to the front.

from this
When I see something more like this.
All high performance cars have pointy noses for drag reason, where splitters are not effective at the ends.
How does Calloway know what to do but Chevy doesn't?

I can see what you mean but I think it's just the perspective view. We are looking at a slight down angle making it look lower than it actually is.
It should be approximately the same as the 488 maybe a touch higher overall for more ground clearance...at least when driving slow. They should have an auto drop mechanism for above 40mph or so to drop the whole car 2in !
You'll be able to tell better in the coming new side view.

One question. Should the nose be a bit lower as compared to how the rest of the car sits? I drew a line here so you know what I am talking about.
I mean I guess my point is purely an opinion and aesthetic but curious is all. Myabe it's my OCD.

I just realized my expectations are so low for ME styling that I might end up liking it when it comes out.
You all are a lot better artists than I am but what I'm seeing really sucks. Thank you for fortifying my low expectations, it can only get better from here.

[QUOTE=kingpin111;1596826639]That looks pretty sexy! I've been following your work here and it keeps getting better and better.

I put these two together for comparison.
I think the nose is about right...but if it helps, think of it as an auto lifting nose for driveways and speed bumps!
Of course I am just guessing about some features like the rear Q intake and I think the real car will have more refined lines and be much more distinctive and exciting but even like this I don't think the design "sucks". Eye of the beholder I guess. Can't please everyone...GM has it's work cut out for them.
I know c7pimp said the rocker/deflector was body color but it looks nice blacked out too.
$300k vs an expected +- $75K ? It could be a big winner.
