Default Here’s what I think a “base” model C8 would look like

Considering where it is made, and more, I prefer FVS’ dirty version:

I would but the actual light fixture/config is not exactly clear.

Not a big detail but wanted to point out the A pillar may actually be painted body color this time.

I would personally prefer that look. Have seen more than a few who installed painted “A” pillars” and they looked good to me.

Here is an earlier ME rendering (thanks FVS) and the Hennessy Venom F5 with the A pillars being body colored.

If our next generation ME Corvette C8 "borrowed" a few cues from the
Hennessy Venom F5, I'd be very OK with that.

Not sure what happened but some of the latest renders seem to be way off the mark. The car has very little in common with the new ZR-1, nor does it have much to do with a Hennessy Venom. I would encourage the renders to go back to posts by CPimp and ZERV and rebuild from there.

Not sure why you think it's way off the mark.

The last side view and latest 3\4 are the same car from different angle and according to c7pimps comments so far.

C7pimo has not yet replied to my latest PM or commented on the last renders but Nate said the nose did actually look like the Zr1 as shown. At least a little and he said it looked similar to the little he saw and could describe.

When c7pimp gets back to me we can work on getting closer.

I'm with ya FVS. Maybe Atari is thinking the renderings in post #342 are the latest.

The side vent on yellow looks correct.

I don't know why everyone uses C7 design cue's in their C8 renderings!
Based on that thinking, the C7 should have looked a lot more like the C6 it replaced. Sure you can use some Corvette design cues, but it's an all new car, totally different... stop pretending it's some kind of C7 Evolution.

It's not that much different from the new ZR1 front end.
