But the designers of the upcoming mid engined car almost certainly had pictures hung all over the walls and taped to their monitors of past Corvette related racecars, mid engined prototypes, and Zora's smiling face to draw inspiration. Some of the spy shots seem to show the camo could be hiding a side intake shape that may resemble those GTP cars. The Corvette Indy was similar too.

the tt lt5 cerv really did it for me. An understressed 750 hp dohc twin turbo in an aerodynamic and thoroughly modern chassis.
that car was flat out awesome and had the full catalog of advanced technology GM had in the skunk works thrown at it.
not too far off from where we are today in terms of hp and performance targets and that was a LONG time ago.
gm needs a world beater again.
