You didn't take one for the team and get out at the intersection and stand in front of the car and fire away with your camera? Remember what they say in Transformers, "no sacrifice no victory!"
Also I really hope they come standard with the 5' tall C.B. antenna. "breaker breaker, this is Bad Radio, comeback!"

I did my best to be respectful as a corvette enthusiast, while still trying to get what I could.
Once the other 2 C8s caught up from the rear, the whole crew pulled into a turn out.
I went by them and tuned around, and pulled into the large turn out on the far side. In a VERY short time, by the time I had turned around and pulled in, they were just finished completely covering ALL FOUR C8s with car covers...
As I stepped out of my car to look, I was approached and told not to. I told them I was a huge corvette fan, and then asked them straight up if that was the mid engine C8, let's just say they response was something like "we can neither confirm or deny, NO comment"
I then told them I had pics and some video, and asked them if they did not want me to post it, to which they again gave a vage but Neutral response, but did NOT tell me not to post. Overall, I was respectful, and they were cool about things.
I was a bit low on fuel since I jumped in the car that morning without filling up, so I even half jokingly asked them if I could buy a few gallons of fuel from them (they had a fuel truck with them), a few came over to look at my car and really liked it.
Again, wish my front camera had worked, but it certainly was a thrill chasing them thru the canyons for the better part of 20 minutes!!!

Since they were covered no shots possible anyway...better luck next time !

I'm more impressed that OP still has his C5... that car was groundbreaking in the early C5 days!
