Default Brake package on $169,900 ME?

Look at those amazing brakes on a $169,900 vehicle.

Price rumors make so much sense now?!

Well, no, for GM would not send four ME’s to the N’Ring for extensive testing and development, with brakes that are “less” than those on the actual car.

I concur - this has been brought up numerous times, yet the "If you think this car is going to be under $100k, you're an idiot crowd" doesn't seem to have a good answer.

This is obviously the brake system on an entry level model.

Don’t worry there’s tons of buyers from over seas....
International buyers with big bucks from China .

The domestic buyers will buy the C7.5 and shut up.

Then again, just because the mules are riding around with those brakes, doesn't mean those are automatically the brakes the car will come with.

Valid point, but I can't see Chevy running the Nurburgring without similar brakes to what will be available on the actual car.

"Elegant," who is one of the most knowledgeable guys on this site, has already laid out the expected pricing for the C8. Around 70k for the base, 170K or so for the Zora.

Just of the record, Zerv2 also predicted that the C8 would be introduced at this past August's Monterey Historics.

Beating a dead horse here but where I get frustrated with Zerv is his trendiness. What he is doing is so prevalent in the media currently and it is quite gruesome. Make a remark that is true in only the slightest way or state a rumor with no basis of any kind. This kind of rhetoric is very effective at the moment. “Guilty until proven innocent”. In this case the entire statement is true because it contains the words Zerv and C8.
In no way would a 170,000 car show it’s face at Nürburgring with passenger car brakes unless they were production items.

I agree. If ANY C8, at any point of the generation's life span goes for $169,900, he will claim victory and a resounding "See, I told you so"

It depends on what they were testing. It could have just been a publicity stunt as well.

Not defending Zerv, but fake news. It wasn't Zerv, even the person who claimed it in the other thread realized it was someone else.

The Nürburgring is the last track on earth you want to do a "publicity stunt" on.

These are the brakes on the Lambo SUV I saw at cars and coffee in Palm Beach on Sunday. I would think it would have something this size.

Brake package on a lowly c7, think Chevy has it under control.
