Here is the latest version of my design. I went back to some of the original design elements.
This version features a new side scoop similar to the camo cars. I'm leaving the headlights until I get a better understanding of what they might look like. Time to keep on working as we get closer to the reveal. Thanks to those who actually have something constructive to say. It's a concept design. Not a finished vehicle.

The only thing I don't like are the Muslim hub caps.

Thanks Shaka. I really enjoy trying to come up with what the C8 might look like. Just like in the other threads it's all just speculation and fun. I'll keep refining it and hopefully get
closer to the real design. I looked at the NSX, Lamborghini and numerous other supercars for this design. I think Chevrolet is plenty capable of coming up with an awesome looking car.

Haha, I see what you mean there. I'll add a more realistic hub. Maybe a single nut style like on the Le Mans style cars.

We know exactly what the headlights look like from CAD images leaked:

Good job btw, I like your style. You are talented.

I like it. I think the lower front fascia protrudes too much, but it's a nice, clean design. Probably more exotic (and that's a good thing) than the actual car will end up being.

Wow, a person shares with us an rendering, and some attack him and his work.

Good for you Cardesignforfun for taking the time to draw and share something for us to consider. I like your forum name, which after all is why were gather here, to have fun, share ideas, and similar.

And if someone doesn’t like something, whatever happened to such posts as:

Not my favorite;
I’ll pass;
No thanks;
Doesn’t do anything for me;
Wish it were “X”;
Not something I would buy.

Or a hundred other tactful “not for me” posts.

Or someone who doesn’t like the design, could choose to ignore the design entirely.

*****

Paraphrasing the old expression, “if you do not have anything nice to say, do not say anything,” to a more contemporary equivalent, “if you would not say something to a person while looking that person face to face, probably best not to post it on a forum.”

I keep forgetting with some of the snowflakes around here you can't jab at a guy anymore. He asked for opinion and folks gave him theirs. You can go back to your safe zones again.

Nice render. I like your side intake design...hopefully that area looks more like your design than what has been posted on the other thread. Evidence doesn’t suggest such though.

Here is my latest design progress. This time I focused on the rear end of the car. I'll be refining it as I go especially the lower bumper. Thanks for stopping by.

You are very talented. You should pursue design as a career...I assume you are young. I can only dream it looks this good.

Thank You Paulchristian, I really appreciate it! I have always enjoyed drawing cars. I'm sure GM has come up with something great.

Nice evolution of what others have previously published. But I think there's enough renders of C8-ish designs floating around.

It would be more interesting to me to see you "push" yourself a bit to create something truly new... totally revolutionary. In other words, conceptualize where Corvette could/would go AFTER the next C8 generation.

You have some skill, now stretch yourself creatively.

Just my two cents mind you.

Frank LP has a good suggestion for you. Do your own design for the C8. I don't have your kind of talent but here is my attempt. I tried to please everybody. I started from your C3 front fender in the above view and did these sketches. Major theme is the C3 with a stylized 66 427 hood, 91 non round tail lights, 65 and C7 rear 1/4 extending to center of the door and parts of the shark fish including the hammer head. I'm better in 3D sculpture but I get a good idea sketching first. It's a challenge making it look like a Vette.

Thanks Vette-nv. I can see what you mean with it protruding too much. Almost like an under bite. I have some revisions coming for this design along with another design I did that is more front engine proportioned.
