Gone Way Over The Edge
I just counted the number of pictures in my ME “album.”
239
Wonder what my count will be on January 11th — the day before the reveal?
Good thing I am retired, for with the amount of time I spend considering the ME would have properly resulted in my job termination if I were still working.
MES is the name of my disease, e.g., mid engine sickness. But what a nice way to go, e.g. smiling all the way.

The C8 forum is the first forum I check every day. It's become a bit of an obsession for me, too. I wish GM would just announce the damn thing so I can get on with my life!

Even in pilot training, I find a way to check the C8 section everyday. Who else is going to stream the debut on a computer? (Pretty sure they won’t let student pilots take leave to go fantasize over the new corvette). It’s nice to see my USAA saving account grow every month for my down deposit. Let’s hope my C7 stays healthy until then, cheers.

Side note, FVS, you are the man and will go down in history as the best renderer on earth. Cannot wait to see your lastest in collaboration with C7Pimp!

And what makes you believe that Jan. 12th is going to be the public showing, Elegant, not that I don't want it then but just wondering. And wondering is this the M.E. reveal, the C8 reveal or is it 1 and the same?

Elegant, I like your enthusiasm for the mid engine, and I share it. I've been at this Corvette thing for a very long time. I have not been this excited about a new generation Corvette for decades.
These are the good old days.

The continuing talk (by a FEW) that this car is a Cadillac makes me laugh. The ME Corvette is literally Bigfoot/Jackie O/Loch Ness Monster/etc of cars. GM is NOT stupid...missing out on a car who's roots go back FOUR PLUS decades to give it to Cadillac would go down in history with the first Infinity ad campaign as how NOT to do it.
Certainly, there might be a Caddy version down the road, but there is NO way that the mid-engine car we are seeing is ANYTHING other than a Corvette.
