Here is the research I did last night (and of course any individual one can vary by a size depending on the model year and similar):
Audi R8: 235/35/R19; 295/30/R19
Audi R8/V10: 245/35/R19; 295/30/R19 [Opt. R = 305/30R20]
Ferrari 488 GTB: 245/35R20; 305R30/R20
Ford GT: 245/35/R20; 325/30/R20
Lambo Huracan: 245/30/R20; 305/30/R20
McLaren 570: 225/35/R19; 285/35/R20
McLaren 650: 235/35/R19; 305/30/R19
McLaren 720: 245/35/R19; 305/30/R20
Porsche GT3: 245/35/R20; 305/30/R20
Porsche 911S: 245/35/R20; 305/30/R20
NOTE: Every ‘19 Corvette, regardless of “entry” or ZR1, uses 19” F/20” R wheels.
Admittedly, the sizes are wider for the big Lambo’s and some hyper cars, but the above gives an overall view of typical ME tires/wheel sizes.

As Quinten33 noted, on most ME’s narrower front tires needed/used, and with the motor’s weight right over the rear axles (better acceleration traction by far than with a FE), and for the same power levels, comes typically narrower rears too.

However, one can only get away with this when the weight is moved back over the rear wheels.

An original signed Tom Peters dwg.
The head of the Camaro design team is John Mack. He has nothing to do with the Corvette ME’s design team.
The design team that developed the C7 is the same design team that is developing the ME (exception being that Michael Simcoe replaced the retiring Ed Welburn).
Hwasup Lee, Kirk Bennion, Tom Peters are the rest of the exterior design team. The C7’s Chief Interior Designer, Ryan Vaughan, is back at it designing the ME’s interior.
The chosen initial sketch for the C7 was done in 2010 by Hwasup Lee (below). He also did major work on the C7 ZR1.
Not worried in the slightest.

"In honor of jpee"
noticed the rear deck buttress on the Black wheel mule. I think this may be thee VERT but note the lack of C pillar in this view and the "apparent" long deck surface which looks similar to the 720 in this view.
May mean a very narrow/ sleek looking rear window/buttress.

if there ever is a mid-engine Corvette... it will be an additional model.
Any ME design of merit will retail for what the Ford GT lists for; and this new mega MSRP can't be the only Corvette that Chevrolet will be selling (too few that can afford it).

Corvette team: "Thanks Mary. Screw the price point. Let's start making 1,000 Corvettes a year and charge $500K for each".

Could be that we see and 2022 or 2023 all electric Cadillac sports car having lots of Corvette ME components and built at BGA, but as to a ME Caddy before then, we have a better chance of Chevy starting to make Mustangs next year.

As with yesterday’s new about Cadillac firing its brand manager, Cadillac is an underperforming U.S. make. Cadillac sales within America are down 20% in the last four years, and thus they are frantically going to get 20 new CUV’s, SUV’s and electric vehicles to market within the next three years. They do not have time, nor sports cars staff to add another major new project, one that has no relationship to the rest of its brand, this coming year.
Styling of the ME looks Caddy-ish to me. Exhausts at the sides instead of center, sharp tall fenders, etc. Make it in black, throw on some chrome trim - Bam. Caddy.
Caddy has had 'halo' 2-door cars in the past, remember the XLR.
Finally, Chevrolet is very aware the biggest downside of Corvette ownership is the crappy Chevrolet dealership network.
Regardless - We shall know all soon!

the thread is about the C8, and whether it will be mid-engined or not.

You're the drugged loon suggesting a Mid-engine corvette design would be priced at or near the Ford GT. That's well above the Ferrari 488 GTB and McLaren 720S and this is a Chevy we're talking about. That's definite troll territory.
Again, if GM ever did design a $450,000 supercar, it wouldn't be branded under Corvette. We're talking about Corvette. You are talking about mystical, non-existent unicorns.

The Corvette mantra has always been great performance at a bargain price when compared with foreign manufactures. Now that may mean overall interior takes a hit, but it has gotten better with each new generation.
Like others have said, no way in hell a corvette is gonna cost 450-500k unless they build an all electric car similar to a Porsche 918, and that would be on the EXTREME performance/technology end of the spectrum. Even still i wouldn't put it past GM to do that at a price point that would slap other auto makers in the face. And even then there will always be the affordable models that the non wealthy can enjoy. I guess in the end we could be wrong, but i'm just looking at history. My 2 cents...
