May Car & Driver has ME on the cover...

Lol relax everyone, doesn’t anyone have faith in Chevrolet and the corvette designer teams? It will be beautiful and nothing like this (to a degree)
In the mean time, FVS, Work you’re magic on this render please!

Now those are even MORE "Camaro-ey" tail lights.
Lot of fender above the rear wheel. Looks like they tried to break it up with that body line.
I'm sure it will grow on me as every generation has.

Proportions look all off. Hopefully one of the few who's actually seen the car and are willing to comment will weigh in, but here's a quick adjustment I did (I'm not good at photoshop or anything, I did this in powerpoint lol)
Back wheel looks too small and the whole car looks like it was stretched in the vertical dimension, hopefully it looks more like this:

It's because I don't have faith in the Corvette stylists
They've gone south too many times with conservative-driven B.S. for me to have any faith in them.

Car and Driver could at least create a new emblem for the front of their interpretation.
As a few have mentioned, they took parts they we have seen and those look correct, but the rest is off. The 3/4 area specifically is too plain for a car that looks like it is being designed with extreme amounts of cooling ala that wide open front grill.
That being said: I always liked the car they put on this mag prior to the C7 being shown. It had a retro C3/C5 meets new design to it.

This render is a hit AND a miss at the same time.
First of all, this render looks stout and bulky. The real car does not and I think even spy images of the camo'd cars clearly show the low, wide stance of the car that this render does not properly present in the least.
The rendered hood looks way tall when in reality the hood is sleek, low and tight.
The lines of the hood and how they flow next to the headlights to the front fenders and continuously along the top of the door is wrong.
The front fascia is close enough. The side inlets are a littler wider and the bottom of the fascia sloping upward and forward at that angle is over done but it's ya, it's pretty close.
The side scoop is pretty dang close, but the bottle shape of the body here is non-exisent. The sleekness and aggressiveness of that shape of a tight waist and sexy hips that is on the real car is not even in this rendering. The waist comes in and makes the side scoop have a wider opening than this render.
That rear end has all of the right elements of the rear bumper, but the proportions are way off and makes it look like a mess. Those tail lights are completely wrong, don't worry. Two large distinct lights fill that entire space just like you expect on a Corvette (they aren't round though, sorry round taillight fanboys). It doesn't have two small lights with a light bar running underneath them. That is ugly as hell and makes the rear look so fat.
Don't worry guys. This render was well and professionally done, but it's not a very accurate or proper representation of the car's design especially on the rear.

There's something missing on the front and the rear. I'm not an artist or designer so I can't quite pin it down, but its a lack of "pizzaz." Both ends look a bit dull. I hope they break up that gaping maw on the front and give the tail lights a bit more definition. Just IMO and it's just a rendering, so nothing to get too excited about. This isn't the exact car, right? Right??

As commented on the other forum by “VETTED53,” that extremely high hood in the rendering is part of the “Country Club Edition” — for it would allow two golf bags.

But brace yourself. The maw is going to be gaping, no matter what.

I'm all for carrying capacity
But not at the sacrifice of a boldly-styled, great looking, original design. I refuse to believe the center of the hood is that bloated-- ballooning that much higher than the front fender peaks. That is one, oogly look.
