Hey, been a long time guys.
Remember this modified image I made and posted about two years ago?
It started as the three pictures on the left, but I added some styling elements to it.
The circled area shows one of the design elements that made it onto the C8.

Thanks for the "likes", I appreciate it.
vetteman41960, were you the guy that had a custom car business? I have a couple different car designs that
I made recently that could be specialty model Corvettes. They would be in the 500k or million dollar price range if built.
Or maybe Chevrolet would be interested in doing that with me.

If you got some cool stuff to show who know maybe someone will like them and can assist you in bring the concept a life size model that would be the 1st step to getting your design from pen and paper to a real vehicle.
Check out some of 1st vette soon and Chaz design here on the forum. Great guys with pretty cool ideas and.design.
Chaz has brought himself great attention from the media due to his designs. Possible you could do the same to get you in touch with guys who can help take a design and make it a reality.

Since before it was even decided for sure that the C8 would be a mid-engine.
Back when the renders looked like these, and a prototype was made from C7 parts.

It's every designer's dream to work on the design of a Corvette.
I'm proud of the contribution I made, as everyone should be that had a hand in bringing about the first mid-engine Corvette.
This was probably my best contribution, from two years ago.
This was the original blade design.

Yes, there are many similarities.
But you've got it backwards. The C8 is pretty close to my designs. Mine were first.
I posted them here two or three years ago.
I wasn't trying to guess what the C8 would look like. I wasn't making a drawing from a spy photo.
I was trying to get Chevrolet to build a mid-engine Corvette.
This is not an account that GM or an automobile magazine uses to post renderings. I'm an actual person.
I don't work for GM or Corvette Forum or for anybody in the auto industry.
Obviously, some of my design ideas were used in the C8.
I did say, more than once, that my designs could be used as long as I was fairly compensated.
They didn't have to use my designs, but they did. They could have designed it differently.
So since they chose to incorporate some of my design ideas,
I'm assuming that they would know that I would want compensated for all the work that went into making those designs.

The C8 design was completed in 2015 and was done largely in parallel with the C7 design by Peters and Bennion. Take a look at the sub-scale clay model that now resides at the NCM. This model is at least 6 years old. The biggest clue on where they were headed was the Aria show car. It is obvious now that these guys must have had a preview of what was to come.
