It is also an attention grabber, which I don't always want. At a cruise night yesterday I was admiring a C7 GS in the Watkins Glen grey with black wheels, which would be my choice in a C7, and I'm leaning towards for my C8. Except it will be a different grey by then.
the answer to your dilemma is simple; you must have 2 c8s; one bright and showy, the other stealthy and conservative!

I used to drive this around....worst time of my life...no lie. Got sick of people gawking, stopping me at gas stations, asking me what I did for a living, asking if it was my dads car, blah blah blah. My dad was beat to death outside a bar in the ghetto and I was homeless until I was 22...the story is far too much bs to tell at gas stations just to earn peoples respect that I buy sh*t for myself.

I'll be a buyer for sure, but I can't say I'm looking forward to the attention factor whatsoever...takes enjoyment away from the driving experience for me, entirely.

Any Corvette is an attention getter. If you want to fly under the radar, buy a Prius, Camry or Cruze. I bought a Gray C7 because I like the color combination of Cyber Gray and Kalahari. As for flying under the radar, I can't go anywhere without folks staring at it. I've been told more than once it's the most beautiful car that individual has ever seen. Just a plain old Z51 with the basic silver wheels, no add ons to make it flash.
When I had the C5, the comments weren't quite as often or that dramatic, but it got plenty of attention. Corvettes are not for folks who don't want to be noticed.
As for the OP, buy whatever color turns you on. It doesn't matter, in a town of 50K, do you really think ANY C8 will fly under the radar? Really?

Corvette has always been designed as an attention-getter.
There is no reason to think the C8 won't stand out as well.
After all, it's a formula that has worked for 60+ years...

Torch red ..I have a black vette now and although it’s slick. I miss the bright torch red ..

Black interior and I’m happy.

That’s my preference.

Here, actually you can hear the mid-engine Corvette.

Poor quality version video that's already been posted. And what has it got to do with the thread?

Hint, it's not a color.
