^^^^^
That's why it's so funny when people start bitching about the way ANY car looks or think they can get a "render" right based on camo'd mules.
When the "McDonalds" cars (the first real in the wild photos) appeared, there were people saying: "Very disappointed, going to keep my C4/5/6/7"

These photos are not as clear as the previous set. However, the rear shots continue the theme of double rectangular tail lights with a white light or space between them.
Once again, the round tail light crowd is going to be VERY disappointed. IMHO, they look more like Camero lights than the C7 tail lights.

Here is your earlier rendering without that front wheel air channel. Much more visually attractive to me.
That is an amazing rendering Elegant+FVS. Will also be my first Vette.....pretty excited. Would love the official reveal, cause all my co-workers are giving me crap cause it's unofficial at this point.

I know some of this has been discussed, but a few observations...

First time I've noticed a recognizable grill pattern (ZR1-style)

Roof line breaks in these positions can only mean retractable roof.

Buttresses look thicker than I thought (was thinking C3-ish) rising up at about a 45 degree angle on both sides - very 488 Spider. Glad to see what looks like engine venting on the back deck - clear plexi vents would be cool. Also can see rear view mirror cam for when top up, parking cam above license plate and bumper sensors for active cruise and blind spot alarm. A co-worker has an Escalade with the rear view mirror cam - incredible HD wide unobstructed view - but can be used as a conventional mirror as well. Glad to see it on the ME.

Is this bottom gray tray just a diffuser or an active under car wing as part of the active aero? Would be in line with current Corvette race tech - plus require less wing up top.

Thanks tomlink for pointing out some more details, though one I hope is optional, the four back up sensors. They are far from visually attractive, constantly having their circular indentations filled with crap. I know from my DD’s, that my back up camera and the separate system alerts when anyone is coming toward me as I back out of a parking space when parked between two behomeths, that I sure do not need nor want them.

Really unattractive. There is no diffuser here yet or any other aero device. There is a huge transverse muffler. A diffuser could be placed under all that mess and that center curved section could be a mount point and an indication of the ramp profile.
Round lights rule.

I'm a round lamp guy.

If there is a retracting coupe version, which it sure looks like, no way will that one be under $70K. But, a pull-off Targa, or basic fixed top version, now there's a different story...

Each clue increases the fun facto, for sure...

Can you please cite the reference text for the requirement for the circular sensors?

I just read the requirements for back-up cameras and warning sensors. I see those requirements, but just like my and my wife’s DD’s which each have the backup cameras and some kind of backup alarm sensors (which work outstandingly well), [I] yet both do not have the ugly four circle sensors, I am not seeing the specific requirement for the four sensor circles themselves.

Thank you.

This looks like a cross between Ferrari F355 and Ferrari 458--it is pure sex on wheels.

Just for reference, just because it has a folding hardtop does not necessarily mean it is going to be priced out of the stratosphere anymore:

Miata RF - $31,910
Volkswagen Eos - $31,999
Mercedes Benz SLC - $48,400
BMW Z4 - $49,525
BMW 430i - $52,950

I'd expect the coupe to start around $60k-$65k, convertible around $65k-$70k, but who knows

Apologies - my reference was for reverse sensing / cameras not necessarily the 4 cheap sensor dimples.

The sensors yes, but the appearance no. I read an article a year or so ago that someone had patented a process by which the sensors could be hid behind an otherwise smooth surface without causing issues. In short, bumpers will look like plain old bumpers soon.

My 2018 Golf R has parking sensors back and front. Visible but nothing horrible.

I think they should avoid those ugly tiny round almost invisible sensors and go with the springy feelers on each fender corner This way you don’t have to worry about technology failure
