Do you want a coupe or spider?

I will have to wait for the reveal before I know for sure what I like better, but probably a coupe. Although I hope the coupe has a flying buttress. I had a 76 Stingray, and I always preferred the look of it over the 78-82 cars.

WOW!!!! I am amazed at how many are leaning towards the 'spider'! I'm a 'vert' guy myself although I've had a couple of coupes since our first new '68 convertible. This may be a major 'shjft' in the product mix. What do 'verts' represent..... 20% or so of the C7's built/sold?
My Ferrari and Aston Martin are 'verts' as is my C7. I guess I'm one of the 'old guys' that still has hair to blow in the breeze. (Yeah I worry about skin cancer) That being said, My only issue is that I worry that the fabric tops on the C7 and Aston will get permanently creased because I so seldom put 'em up. That shouldn't be a problem if the C8 ME has a power folding hard top that tucks away behind the seats in a little vertical slot like the SSr we used to have.
Let's make certain the General knows about our preference for a 'spider' so we don't have to wait for months (or years) for it after the ME introduction.

I think many are considering an ME vert due to the hard-top vert design. I know I am. I would not consider a soft-top vert but If designed and executed in a beautiful way I dont see the downside to the hardtop vert except slightly less storag maybe.

I would love a hardtop convertible.

the flying buttress look
The coupe will have to be a fastback to satisfy the race team. For the vert the vertical rear window should go up and down just like Ferrari does it on the 488 spider. A cheap way to get the 'convertible' effect.

Do you guys think the coupe model will have a targa top at least? I certainly hope so!

I am a folding hard top fan but I could go either way. Depends on which is most visually appealing. As well, keep in mind the stiffness of a coupe versus a convertible. Must stiffer in a coupe.

As long as a targa is offered that’s what I’ll get.
Roof off is what I demand but lifting it off myself is no big deal for me.
I like it as it keeps me young.
