The Mans C8 Z51!
C8R frame and motor - car ~2,700lbs. Swap in the A10.
Everything from the aero on down is watered down for the street (3,200lbs) and that practical use. Option the track pack!
It takes a village with a plan!

Link to that quote, please.
There are lots of quotes in this thread attributed to Tadge that make the automatic argument but I can't find anywhere that he actually SAID anything like the above.
Don't get me wrong, I could care less what transmission someone chooses in THEIR Corvette.

At least there isn't a shortage of details! ;)
Whatever, Joe.
You started this **** show, not me. If you think the 86 with a 550HP is viable, then freakin' build one yourself or commission one. What in the HELL this has to do with the manual transmission availability in the C8 is beyond me.
To all...my apologies for being baited by another stupid post by Joe that has NOTHING to do with the subject of the thread. One day I'll learn.

"I wish #6 would be true but it won't happen. The days of 3,200lb cars are limited with all of the safety and emissions regulations not to mention consumer demand for gadgets.
If the car comes in at 3,400lbs it will be a big win IMO. If it's 3,200lbs then it will be $25,000 more expensive as it would be built with incredibly light weight (and expensive) components. There are few cars that TRULY weigh in at this level that aren't either crazy expensive or very, very small in size."
I responded to his post about car weights etc. He said nothing about a transmission in his post, but you conveniently ignored that fact. At least I mentioned a transmission in my post.
Go crawl back into your filthy hole.

Don't worry Joe! ;)
Your absolute hatred of everything I post(and me personally) is showing in spades. Why didn't you make a personal attack against gthal when he posted this in post #289...

I don't hate you but I DO hate your silly posts that bring up stuff that has ZERO to do with anything.
Seriously, gthal says a 3,200 pound C8 will be tough to do based on the price point of a Corvette and YOU come back with the CAMRY, continuing your never ending up front or disguised dislike of 2018 General Motors. BTW, a base 2018 Malibu is 160 pounds LIGHTER than a base 2018 Camry since you seem to think this thread is open to family sedans that would be fun to compare to a C8.
What's next? Why Aston Martin CHOSE the M-B TT V8 over the SBC....Oh wait, you already did that one.

I didn't attack you. I attacked your posts, just as you attack mine, but with your hatred of me clearly showing in everyone of your posts.
BTW, I said my farts smell better than the information you post(ie: your posts stink), I didn't say they smelled better then you.
