Should be a BIG "Accidental" Leak of The M/E Coming Soon

Thats the problem with a lot of people though.....even us "young" guys might be using a car as a casket in 3 years. Everyone thinks they have "another day". Its important to be prepared/invest for the future but if you have a passion to do something, putting it off only limits the amount of time you are able to enjoy it

Still, a lot of us old guys do remember those not-so-good Old Days.

Mistakes are not only on the production line. The mistake was (as you say) by engineers in design and poor testing and every body that bought one has to deal with it. If they corrected it or even attempted to correct it then that's an admission of the mistake.

I would still not buy a car built on Monday morning or Friday afternoon - Kidding of course, those days are long gone fellas, just like the "Win on Sunday and Sell on Monday ..."

I think the next leak should be a picture of a clutch pedal.

Soon for a leak is now! I don't see any big leaks coming out (other than that ZR1 possibly losing some fluids on Belle Isle, Detroit).

2014-2015 silver cars had lots of mottling (splotchy metal flake) and color variance panel to panel. So much that they changed how they painted Silver only in 2016 and made note of it in the marketing. I recall Tadge specifically addressing it.

Additionally, those who have gotten or seen the 2019 Blade Silver cars have commented on how excellent the silver’s uniformity is as a result of the new paint shop.

Same here. I bought a 14 C7 vert. I hope to jump in on an ME at the get go, price permitting.

Amen. I'm too old to wait around on the "deal" or any of that. My deposit is in, and I'll know in 6 months or so if the C8 is the car I want. If not, I'll buy another Stingray and live happily ever after.

Geez, how old are you guys?? I'm old but could still wait a few years.

There's 2 schools of thought: Buy the new model and enjoy it or wait a few years and get a deal. I'd prefer to enjoy the car rather than wait. No right or wrong answer here, just one man's opinion.

I am 71 and I am not waiting. I will be driving mine hopefully in next year’s National Corvette Caravan, and then two years later, will be getting the HP version.
Will be smiling while I am driving!
Everyone here who has ever lost a friend or a family member way too soon, knows the wisdom of buying as soon as you can afford it. Also, everyone who has survived a major medical episode themselves, also know the wisdom of “striking while the iron is hot.”

I, for one, cant wait for the ME. Although, Im on the same page, as some. I will wait a model year, or two. it has a little to do with the first year run, but more to do with the fact, that Im only 43, and I just bought my first Corvette, last month, (C7, 7M, Z51). Ill be looking at the 2021 cars, I have 2.5 years of child support, left. Thats about the same monthly cost, as my C7. Plus, I have a 2017 Cruze that I pay $500 a month, to get paid off as quickly as possible. So, when the 2021 cars come out, whatever $2,100 a month will get me. Im already shelling out the money, I will just be focusing it all on a ME in 2021.
