Successful brand managers of iconic vehicles (especially those with 65 year histories )tend to keep existing customer bases and expand upon them.

I don’t disagree with that. I just think this is a new platform. Some will like it and others won’t.

My F430 had enough boot space for a couple of smaller soft side bags, a detail kit, and a fire extinguisher. There was no space behind the seats. It was not the car for an extended vacation but great for 2-3 day getaways.
