Of all things I would like to see GM spend money on for the ME...

I think luggage is a classy addition that should be able to be purchased. I've got a special set of the C7 luggage for my Stingray and LOVE using it whenever we travel.
Hi-end cars have luggage-time to step up GM!

Right! ;)
A break Please! Skank and elegant should just make up their order guide with an ultimatum.
This may be a Forum first here, and that's saying a lot (maybe they are!).

Wouldn’t it be nice if the 2020 Order Guide and full option pricing be published before orders are submitted!
My best guess is that we could potentially have a challenge in the ordering area, for IMO, initial orders might be able to be submitted before the BASH. However, with that event being when GM typically brings informed 75 Corvette personnel to the event, interior color samples, sometimes seeing actual wheel options, and typically several (sometimes many) different new model year cars for us to see, it would be best for orders to not go in before the beginning of May. A further potential decision point for many will be that even the traditional carryover colors will look different on an ME and with perhaps as many 4 new colors for us for 2020 ME’s, we ask please GM for three things:
1) to hold off on taking initial orders until after the BASH;
2) to have the full Order Guide be shared NLT the event; and,
3) to have the pricing on not just the car, but every option available, NLT that event!
GM, we all thank you in advance for all three!

John,
Though it would be nice to have that kind of information that early, I doubt they will. It seems they have always introduced the car then monitored the reaction to the car before they divulged the pricing.

Here's a custom set of Corvette luggage from Caravaggio.

Here's an example of Aston Martin's offer of custom luggage. This run approximately US$4200.

I learned from skank that European car’s pricing is often twice, and 3X for what Corvette prices things.
The key issue for the ME luggage will be its being custom fitted. While I would spend more for really nice leather in the cabin, what goes into the frunk made in typical woven nylon, corduroy or ballistic, would be just fine — just like the Corvette fitted five piece luggage set for around $900 list.
If we are alternatively offered say four soft siders for the frunk in woven nylon or corduroy, and two custom sized, leather medium-duffels for the shelf behind the rear seat, at around $1,495 total, count us in.
When we got our 2017 WRX, Subaru sent us, free, this most gorgeous 2/3’s sized duffel in the softest leather. It’s price tag on it, was $150. So gorgeous and functional, it often goes on on Corvette road trips.

John, I am not suggesting Corvette offer a luggage set for $4200 or anything even close. But offering one that is either soft sided or form fit for the space is integral to the driving experience. Given the nature of ME's, there is not likely to be very accommodating space available for luggage. Certainly, golf clubs are out of the question. However, the exposure of Carravagio in Canada or Taris Charysyn in New York should show folks that there are numerous options, even without GM's participation! All of this is wonderful and only makes the ownership of a ME that much more exciting.

Not interested. I don't travel with my Corvettes, as that would expose them to rain. If I'm going on a road trip, I take my Jeep.
(I wouldn't mind if they offered it as an option as I'm sure others would like it, I'm just stating I wouldn't order it.)

You have to admit the theory of custom fit luggage works! It maximizes the space that is obviously at a premium. Another outfit that makes travel equipage is J & R Guram in Delhi, India.

Here is an example of the campaign furniture that might appeal to some of the sophisticates on the forum.

Totally appropriate for a nice Sunday afternoon drive ! I like the fact that all the screws have their single blade screw slots in the vertical position.

This puppy is made out of Rosewood and Crocodile leather. One has to invest in crystal glasses to outfit the thing as well as the Scotch! The price of the bar is just the beginning.
