Awesome!

I enjoy Colorado so much. There was a lamborghini gumball run that came through a few weeks ago. There was maybe 20-25 all in a row coming up the pass.

Thank you.
Looks like they started removing some of the screwed on cladding over the rear quarter panel,
looks thinner,cleaner and better.

The next corvette is coming along nicely .

It's baked. Done. Put a fork in it. The design is not evolving. Whatever's under there is it.

And dude, you have better eyes than I do. Still looks like a shapeless black blob to me. With a big *** rear end that will ultimately be just a big ***, featureless, rear end.

Here is a 30 year old Mitubishi rear end. And a new Ferrari rear end.

So. Which will the C8 rear end resemble most?

^^^ That's not a "new Ferrari". It's some art student's project from eight years ago.

And that Mitsubishi is, at most, 24 years old. That's a 94-96 model.

So it's covered in camo but somehow you KNOW it will have a big ***, featureless rear end?

I'm getting a bit of a Modena vibe. It's looking better. We need some kind of real new spyshot with a lot less camo. This waiting is killing me.

Great to see more ITW pics! Thanks for sharing.

It's going to get real interesting when the external camo covers come off, and we just have the swirl wrap to contend with.

This is an impressive lowering of the Stupid Bar, which on CF would appear at times to be unpossible.

Well done.

OK! So. Which will the C8's rear resemble more? An art student's project (nicely done btw) or a 24-year-old Mitsubishi?

More the Ferrari render -- but not that much resemblance to either...

Of course, the four outer pipes are will be in the same place as the old Mitsubishi. Don't let that confuse you, though, the Vette's will be angular.

Why would a 2020 Corvette resemble a VR4 in any way ? LOL

Simply because the performance bar of the mid engine car is gonna be very close,
despite being over 200 hp short on the halo C7 model.

The base model could set a new bar for base numbers. They could have the new Z engine under the hatch or a new hybrid combination.

I hope he went somewhere after graduating.
That is one good looking rear-end IMO.

Link to a video of the cars driving. Looks like the ZR1 was used as a blocker to prevent photos being taken.
