Corvette C8 Release Date - Who's thinking of getting one?
So I just heard about the C8 spy photos and I know that the exact release date is not confirmed yet, but I was wondering who here is preparing to get one and why?

I'm waiting to see the final product. If it's good I'll probably jump on one, if not I'll be after C7 Z06. I'm worried about how the back is gonna look - not liking the hints I've seen so far.

Depends on cost. If it's below 75K, then I'd definitely consider it, but only after I've got at least another 4 years and some 30K more miles on my current '17.

I hope that the c8 debut as a replacement for the c7 z06 and them latter as replacement for Zr1.
With the C7 stingray and grandsprot holding down the entry price point for Corvette line up.
c8 z06 with 4.2 l DOHC twin turbo with 600 plus horse power with 9k rpm red line and a true world class DCT. and a HTC.
Artic white with 3 lt or whatever the best interior option are with comp seats and adrenaline red interior.
I have one more space saved between my 16 Callaway SC 757 and my 15 458 Italia for r this C8 beauty.
Priced from mid 85k up to 115k for the loaded c8 z06.
I will be placing my order withing the 1st hour of the GM order bank opening.
I hope that if the roll out is similar to C7 I be taking delivery at BC in October 2019

I'm on 'the list' with a small deposit at two very high volume dealerships. Since it's the 'latest and greatest' Corvette I have to get one. While I'll have to sacrifice the C7, the Ferrari, Aston Martin and S63 AMG will stay for a while. I've been waiting for the ME for 45+ years.....

I have the first allocation at my dealership ,
same way I had the first C7.(which was my 1st Corvette)
The C7 purchase and ownership were both great experiences ,so I reserved a C8 over 2 years ago.

2020 C8 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Not enough information. I'm skeptical.
No manual will be a real turn off. If its only a targa I think I'm out.

I'll get one. But I want the higher hp variant which probably won't release until year 2 or 3 of production.

I'm in.
If its a base FI engine I'll get the base car. If there is a HE version I'd strongly consider it even if the price approaches the mid 150's but it would have to be AWD HE.

We've currently got my C5Z that's modded exactly how I like and want it, as well as a C6. I've been close to buying a C7, but just don't feel like they have built the car I want...the Grand Sport is close, but without me modding it, it's not the car I want. I'm considering waiting for this mid engine car altogether. I'm all for owning the mid engine platform, for sure. As for C7, the GS will be on my list when they are in the 30's.

we're all excited.... the 911T is very nice.... had 2 yardos and others... if ME is flat plane crank with turbos... I'm way in... if not... its prolly a new 911 turbo pdk...
the new Vette has to be really special... or its an easy move to a new 911 turbo pdk for me...... had the lambo deal.. they are too long for normal driving.. scrapes worse than mad cow... I'd hang on to that 911 turbo bro... could be the best thing going ..
