Yeah plus I knew he was joking immediately after he said $169,990. Hoping we actually do get a true ZERV 2.0 though

Well, maybe you can't comment on the exterior, but I saw a pig flying today. Wait...it wan't a pig, it was a Pontiac Aztec.

When the vehicle comes out, or at least when you get a first glimpse of the interior, please refer back to this post.

So you reveal the exact price,(which by the way,not many at GM even know till 6 months before it hits the dealership)

You also give clear details on the interior ,along with similar pictures from the competition .
You also refer to the race car as the C8-R,

And then for some reason you believe the logo on the car is a grey zone....

Complete bull.

No bull here my friend. The price was just what I would estimate it at, another user asked me for my input, I said 169,9, this figure has been thrown around by others with apparent inside information. Again, after reading it over myself, It even looks like bull to me... its not, im being as straight as can be, the interior is awesome, and that was my awful way of explaining it.

Anyone who takes the OP seriously I've got some really great stock to sell you in this company that I think is going to be huge. Just send me all of your money and I promise that it will work out great for you. Why would I take the time and effort to make this up?

Default Hmmm

I try to be objective in reading information whether it seems true or false. Corvette has seemingly always been about value per performance dollars spent vs some exotics it gets compared to in lap times. I hope the new vette C8 mid-engine is sleek and there is quite a bit of overall beauty the poster describes but IF they tried that 169k price with the chevy name near what other "accepted" foreign brand car's prices are I think they would be shooting themselves in the foot .

I know personally if the "base" price of this is near 170k and with no more performance testing estimated times than we have seen in previously posted topics I would pass to buy myself a McLaren 570S. I hope its no more than 100k then I might get one considering base value and what has been described previously in other threads.

I find it funny how everyone is knocking this guy for his claims, when their only basis for doing so is their own guesses and wishful thinking that this new car is actually the "C8" and that it'll cost 60-70k. Neither of those claims is supported by objective fact either.

If this is not the C8 but rather a new, possibly limited production model to sit above the front engine car, then a price north of 150k is at least plausible. The ZR1 is already up in that space, and Ford has had no problems selling a car at 3x that price despite the lack of European brand cachet.

It's very possible he's full of crap. But most of what other people are claiming to know is just the result of the speculative echo chamber here on the forums.

I have a strong feeling your observations are correct and of course your not going to spill all the beans for obvious reasons - thinking you saw test version around and someone messed up and more was shown than should have

I agree and I've said this before. Bringing new information to this forum is useless. It never ends well for the OP. They always get crucified and can never win. I've stopped posting info and just I keep it to myself. Everyone here wants the insider stuff but as soon as someone posts it they get pooped on.

I think that a senior forum member who just so happens to be an engineer in Michigan and drives Chevrolets can be trusted to post truthful (and previously unknown)information regarding future Corvette models. I would not ask a forum member such as yourself for evidence before believing what they say. If someone creates an account, says multiple things that completely contradict the logic and reasoning that dozens of insiders have approved, and doesn’t provide some bit of evidence to support their claims, they shouldn’t be trusted. Does that mean that they’re incorrect? Not exactly, but it’s likely.
