Question-Why would someone just not buy a Porsche?

I disagree - I like the simplicity and elegance.
although I would prefer a little more edgy in a sports car- like a fighter jet.
For lexus, while we’re spending bank, look at the LfA interior controls (above).
whoever said Volvo that’s an SUV so I think it’s more fair to look at coupes, like these:

Like the F40, BMW M1, old 911s - or the C6, which gets made fun of despite being one of the few modern cars to actually carry on this tradition.
Instead everyone seems to covet acres of leather and chrome and interfaces that are more ornamental than functional, like Pagani's, which to me is the antithesis of what a sports car should be like.
To each their own.

I think sports cars should have dark (as to prevent glare), hard-wearing, no-nonsense interiors where the controls fall to hand and can be operated by feel.

There's a lot more wrong with it than just glare.

All this and the car is a beast (stock car broke the land speed record on the “Flying Mile” in the UK-topped at 180 mph on a sand beach)! While you’re floorin it, u can blast your fav tunes from an audiophile quality 900 Watt (no I didn’t type an extra 0) Naim system!

It was part of the 3ZR package. I absolutely agree with the "more wrong" part. The Navigation competed with the PONG GAME! The high end Bose sounded awful, too. Good thing I never really used either of those things.

You could get it on the mid level package also. my 2 2008 Corvettes were both mid level, not top 3xx levels. And of all the automotive GPS I have been exposed to , the C6 GPS was hands down the worst EVER!!! My Porsche GPS (to stay slightly on topic, is excellent and it's only a year newer than my 2012 GS).

Excellent
LOL. This feels like one of those "if you have to ask you don't understand" kinda question. I'll keep my C5, love it, and will get an ME when the time is right. Simply put, I dont want a Porsche, even though I respect the brand. For me Corvette is my choice, now i'm gonna be in a rock and hard spot if this car turns out to be a Caddy!! LOL

I mean, really, are things like power seats really necessary? I move my seat once in a blue moon, and doing it manually is really the same effort as doing it with buttons. I'd rather have the weight savings- and this is just one example.

Make any argument you want, the seats in a Bentley are going to win any battle for comfort unless the competition is named Maybach or Rolls-Royce.
