That is beyond hideous.

I disagree - I like the simplicity and elegance.

although I would prefer a little more edgy in a sports car- like a fighter jet.

For lexus, while weíre spending bank, look at the LfA interior controls (above).

whoever said Volvo thatís an SUV so I think itís more fair to look at coupes, like these:

I want my C8 to have an interior like this F40 has. Ive striped down a few Vettes before. The door handle is a cable like the elevator trim control on my Pitts.

Might as well hope that it also has a warp drive.

I think sports cars should have dark (as to prevent glare), hard-wearing, no-nonsense interiors where the controls fall to hand and can be operated by feel.

Like the F40, BMW M1, old 911s - or the C6, which gets made fun of despite being one of the few modern cars to actually carry on this tradition.

Instead everyone seems to covet acres of leather and chrome and interfaces that are more ornamental than functional, like Pagani's, which to me is the antithesis of what a sports car should be like.

To each their own.

Have you tried to look at the Nav screen on the C6? I have news for you. If the sun is out, it doesn't matter which direction it is, the glare is there!

Queston - Why would someone just not buy a Porsche?

Answer - Because the base model C8 msrp will be at least $20k less than a C2 911.

The touch screen was an option. It was not standard equipment on the C6. In other words, you had to go out of your way to get it.

There's a lot more wrong with it than just glare.

The seats that are tan in the middle look like they completely ignored ergonomics in favor of looks. They don't look like seats for humans.

hear ya, looks in one 2D pic can be deceiving. Thatís a Continental Gt obviously. If you havenít, you need to try one. the design of that interior and leather quality (they do two tone two leathers) are stellar. Ride quality is like first class in an airliner. Itís a Supreme GT car.

All this and the car is a beast (stock car broke the land speed record on the ďFlying MileĒ in the UK-topped at 180 mph on a sand beach)! While youíre floorin it, u can blast your fav tunes from an audiophile quality 900 Watt (no I didnít type an extra 0) Naim system!

It was part of the 3ZR package. I absolutely agree with the "more wrong" part. The Navigation competed with the PONG GAME! The high end Bose sounded awful, too. Good thing I never really used either of those things.

You could get it on the mid level package also. my 2 2008 Corvettes were both mid level, not top 3xx levels. And of all the automotive GPS I have been exposed to , the C6 GPS was hands down the worst EVER!!! My Porsche GPS (to stay slightly on topic, is excellent and it's only a year newer than my 2012 GS).

I like a Porsche, but it doesn't really 'do it' for me. I love a Corvette, and more than that is a bit personal, lol. If a Porsche floats your boat, then by all means, buy one. That's why they make 'em.

I agree, Love Corvettes. Makes me feel good driving it. To me that's very important.

The Ford GT does this very well- it has a very minimalist interior with just enough features, in order to reduce weight. I'd prefer this on any sports car honestly.

I mean, really, are things like power seats really necessary? I move my seat once in a blue moon, and doing it manually is really the same effort as doing it with buttons. I'd rather have the weight savings- and this is just one example.

Make any argument you want, the seats in a Bentley are going to win any battle for comfort unless the competition is named Maybach or Rolls-Royce.
