Other than the vinyl wrap(that doesn't mess up air flow around the car) there doesn't appear that any padding is messing up what the car will look like.

For the people that constantly use the excuse that GM isn't interested in using the Ring as the reason the C7 has never posted a Ring time(but only local USA short tracks), here is proof that GM is interested in using the Ring.

I can faintly see the outline of the door and it sure appears that the entire opening of the side scoop is on the door.

Scoop is not entirely in the door, only the top 1/5th.

The bottom photo that I added(from a different source), shows that you are probably correct. It appears that the scoop opening is located about an inch behind the door seam.

This is by far the best shots we've had of the real 'base' model ME!!! The rear isn't as exciting visually as I had hoped but I'm certainly NOT pulling my order. Can't wait to see one in Torch Red. My guess is that's coming soon.... Thanks for the post.

It seems the car looks short in length(maybe a shorter wheelbase). If so,what does a shorter wheelbase mean to performance other than a tighter turning radius?

Thanks!

Im sure its going to be an amazing car - but honestly, in the "looks department"...sadly its not blowing wind up my skirt...its leaving me wanting more.

I think they are still (more subtly now) disguising the front, rear, rear quarter window/scoop and even the side scoop (think thin piece of plastic covered by camo wrap.)

Don’t be surprised if all the “fine details” reawaken your excitement.

I absolutely would not not ever consider buying that car. The quarter and air intake is painful to look at.

Yuck!

That thing is limp looking, what a let down. It appears to me that GM found a way to F up the mid-engine car before it was even released. Shocking.

That is the most "poverty" rear spoiler setup I have ever seen
