2020 C8 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Its not a bad design but not revolutionary. It reminds me a bit too much of a squared off Ferrari 360 modena, which has been around since 1999.
I like it but I'm not sure it's going to really be anything of a breakthrough.

hopefully this is the final edition. otherwise, a little bit of chainsaw activity on the side opening will be in order.

if the actual car is not at least as sharp as the facebook render, gm will have dropped the ball.

So, how will they paint the MEs rear facia to reduce that ‘Big Butt’ look like some made worse trying to change the look on their C7s?

you can get rid of a lot of the big butt effect just by lowering the car.

imo, it wasn't the big butt that ruined the c7 rear end, it was that they painted half of it in contrasting black and added a bunch of god only knows what and why doodads, choosing teardrop shaped grilles, and weird shaped lower extremities behind the wheels. there is none of that foolishness on the c8 rear end.from what i have seen of the c8, it looks like the contrasting portion is more like between 20 and 33 percent of the total, rather than 50 percent.

I'll give my opinion of the new C8 when ALL the camo comes off and GM officially reveals it. Until then, this is still nothing more than smoke and mirrors. What is amazing is all the folks saying "See, I told you", from BOTH sides. Much like todays politics.

Looks awesome, especially from the front-side angle...when the camo is replaced with paint I'm sure it'll look incredible especially for the price!
Interesting that GM has shown the car without tarp before the official reveal. They didn't reveal this much on the C7 even before 1/13/13. I thought this would be kept more under wraps since it should be a more revolutionary new gen.

From the interior pic it looks like that other poster might have been right about the design.
First thought is bland, but that cammo wrap makes it really hard to visualize it. We'll have to see what a fully painted car looks like.
What I am more interested in is how wide are the rear tires?

As for showing the car without the tarp this early...well ,
you can credit the advancements in psychedelic camouflage trickery for that...
high hideous rear spoiler, fake squared off tail lights ,and the usage of a flat white wrap,
the car almost looks invisible.
Brilliant.

hoping once the camo is off, that rear looks OK. One of the biggest reasons I didn't get a C7. Just sayin'
