C8 Interior Pic!
#21
Based on what I can tell, there are serious discrepancies between Zerv02's sketch and the actual picture. Maybe that is another area where he decided to purposely draw it wrong as to not get himself or his buddy in trouble (wink, wink). The top of the dash in his drawing was just a straight line, while the actual car shows a hump / wrap-around cockpit - a design we've all grown accustom to in recent Corvette models since the redesign of C4 interior in 1989.

He nailed exactly the wrap-around screen on the dash, you can see a blue screen behind the cover in one of the pics and it is exactly where he drew it.
Also the Porsche Carrera GT style console that rises up to the dash appears to be there just like he drew and described.
These are unique elements that one couldn't just guess out of thin air. He clearly saw the interior and that will be further proven as time goes on.

Can see an aluminum shift paddle, and the lack of a console mounted shift lever. With that big pad on the wheel you can't tell if the paddles are wheel or column mounted.
*Based on how small it looks top to bottom they're probably wheel mounted.

Those are the rev matching paddles like the C7 and it seems the drivers right hand is resting on something higher like a shifter. Also his left leg seems a little high like to sit on a clutch pedal.
Ok maybe wishful looking, maybe not.

All my vettes were manuals....If the C-8 will not be offered with a manual than just let it be paddle shifters.....
I can't, can't stand looking into a C7Z06 or C7ZR1 and I see the paddle shifters along with the P R N D L shifter.....Come on, really?
I mean nothing against automatics but how can you buy those cars in automatic? And please don't tell me your wife can't drive manual or that " its faster in automatic" ....
These modern day sports cars have clutches that are easily operable with transmissions to boot.......Its not the 70's anymore....

That's an aluminum steering wheel mounted paddle. With that big pad it's hard to tell what the wheel's orientation is, that may be just a portion of it that we can see.

Most cars and trucks built today don't have a linkage to the automatic transmission anymore, its all electronic. Do away with the column mounted or center console shift levers and just give us a dial or button, saves space on the console
