Too early to really know what makes it to production... but for now... the rear end is just not doing it for me. My gut says, "Looks too Camaro-like...". Can't wait to check it out when available!!

I've done a side by side comparison with the rear ends of all the new Camaro variations and I don't see much similarity at all.

Could you or somebody else start a thread with this video?
I don’t know how,I’ve been watching it in the German channel.
I believe it is of interest in regards to the sound and transmission .
thanks.

The comments about having the center exhaust like "tradition" makes me chuckle.. The C1-C4 exhausts were outboard. It's similar to the "outrage" when the C6 came out and folks were upset because all vettes have hidden headlights. Well, all but the original C1 vettes.

I can say I like the non-hidden headlights on the C6 & C7. GM did a good job designing those in.

Its kinda funny how Corvette owners get so hung up on "tradition". When so many of those "traditions" really only apply to a couple of the generations of the car, not all generations. The center exhaust and hidden headlights are two prime examples.

If there is a tradition in corvette, I would say it is the front gills. That is the one thing I can thing of, off the top of my head, that has come on every generation.

Same thing with the C7 -- it hardly looked at all like the contemporaneous Camaro to ME (especially in person). Obviously others see it differently -- and it is silly for me to tell them they are not seeing what they are seeing, even if I think they are nuts
Seriously, though. Google '71 Corvette images, and then do '71 Camaro images. Both are today considered iconic styling exercises. Now, look at the rear ends (be sure the Camaro has the spoiler.) I don't remember any complaints back then, but talk about a CLOSE family resemblance!!!

Vette with spoiler but I couldn't tell if the spoiler was stock or not:
And the Camaro:
One additional thought. There are a lot of fun things being done with lights on cars (OLED, 3D-stack effects, etc). If the rear lights do wrap around, it could be a cool effect if they are doing it to show off 3D stacked wafers, etc.
