Default C8 is going to look gorgeous

I tried to create a more accurate rendering after seeing the front bumper spray booth picture and studying the body lines in the videos more closely. I think this car is going to be gorgeous, swollen side air inlet or not!

I think you’re making the right call painting the possible solid center section of the grill black. Also no bright (chrome) accents anywhere. Maybe add a front plate on another version for those who most decide whether to risk leaving it off if required.
Nice Job.

Great job !! Thank you for your efforts I agree if it looks anything like this GM won't be able to build them fast enough to come close to keeping up with consumers demand..

Looks great. Headlight shape on the hood portion is off. Your previous one had a good headlight shape. Also, your door line is off. looks funky. Also, missing the rearward straking line on the front fender at the belt line. It starts at the front inner tip of the headlight and strakes all the way across the hood, the fender onto the door.

Headlight shape:

The old rendering show this line strake. Front tip of the headlight, across the hood, the fender and onto the door.

This pic shows it perfectly from the front.

Agreed, I'm only worried about the rear end and tail lights looking too blocky/angular/Camaro-esque at this point.

The C8 rear is more sculped and 3 Dimensional than the C7. The C6 and C5 were basically flat. Very plain jane. C7 took it up a step and the C8 goes even further with adding interest to the rear design.

It will be less blocky than the C7 so don't fret.

Credit to FirstVetteSoon.

Other than the exact shape of the side scoop still being not apparent, this is 99.99% what we'll see on reveal day.

White HTC with DCT and a V8 with 3 lt red guts!!! Please GM take my money!!!
I hope that a year from now I will be planning my trip to BC for a tour of the factory and a museum delivery and then a fun 500 plus drive back to FL.

Seems like an istant replay of 2013 where order was placed in January and had to wait until OCTOBER 3RD to pick up at the museum.

To those who have not done the museum delivery it worth every penny of the $999.00 and is a special day you will never forget for any Corvette enthusiasts .

Just FYI the folks at the museum are great and make a really cool experience a fantastic one for those of us who love Corvette and Corvette history.

WOW! There's so much material out there that I haven't seen! This is very helpful! Updating my rendering now

With each render, the design just gets more and more chaotic, suggestive of design by committee. That is not an attractive automobile and I suspect the design process is the culprit.

Be careful on the which photo you select, to perform your artwork. Do you know what the best lens is for a car photo and how far you must be from the vehicle? Pick up a GM new car brochure and take a look at perfect auto photography. Your artwork is good but lens distortion negates your effort. Check out Alain De Cadenet's TV series,"Victory by Design' to see perfect auto video.

Can you go one design thread without shi++ing on the car? You can just not say anything for once. You've repeated the same crap ad nauseum in every thread.

For hellsakes, knock it off.

This looks pretty good, ..but I will bet for sure, .. that the side fender vent has some exterior exposed black, or highlighted architecture to it as opposed to just being a VENT for air introduction. Think of the Stingray, the Grand Sport, the Z06 and ZR1. They all have design detail, and contrasting detail in some way when it comes to the VENT. The vent moves from front to rear, but I bet it still gets some cool detail design detail work to highlight it's presence.
