It sounds like a smaller V8. It actually sounds somewhat similar to a Mustang.

On the still pic where you can see the seat and steering wheel, it looks like there is a noticable seam or something on the drivers side door scoop. More evidence for the idea that the actual shape is being hidden.

It looks like there are some body lines that go down the hood to the nose. You can see them in this leaked pic of the nose from a while back.

If you look at the stills, you can tell one has a splitter and one does not. It looks the the spyder (the one with the tarp over the back window / engine cover) is the one with the splitter. Likely 2 different trim / performance packages and engines.
