Cmon, give C8 Corvette enthusiasts a break!
C8 Corvette Pessimists,
When I first saw the C7 in leaked pictures I thought it was not attractive. When the real pictures came out, I thought it looked just OK. When I saw the real thing, I said OMG the Corvette team did a great job! I still don't really know of any pictures that does justice to how good the C7 looks. You just have to see it in person to really appreciate it.
Now, moving on to the C8. Do you really believe the Corvette team would settle on a design that did not look at least as good as the C7? I prefer the blunt nose and longer rear of the mid-engine cars like the lambos, most ferraris, and mcclarens, so I am really looking forward to the mid-engine C8!
Some fans are bashing the C8 looks using the spy shots as reference. Now, some of the current C8 pictures make the car look bloated to me. I believe the car is well padded hiding alot of the nicer details. And I have no fear, the C8 will be a looker for sure! The Corvette team is moving mid-engine and believe me, they will not let us down with regards to looks, performance and price.
FVS and C7pimp have worked hard together to give us a sneak peak at the upcoming C8 (thanks for your hard work and posts guys). Like they both said, the C8 will look like the renders but much better.
Keep the faith! We will know how she looks and performs by January 2019 at the latest. Relatively speaking, that is just around the corner. I am for sure going to be one of the first giddy people to own and drive the C8. It's going to be smashing and you can take that to the bank.
I can hear it now, is that a Ferrari? Yes, I believe it will look that good.
Your comrade,
Luc

2016 C5 of the Year Finalist
I'm all in on this revolutionary design, and actually like what I've seen so far.
While others will not like the looks (or the sound, or the interior, or the storage space, or the etc etc etc), of the next generation Corvette, none of that matters to me at all. Everyone has the right to their opinion.
For me, I'm just thrilled that I am going to see the first ever ME Corvette... historically a myth, but soon to be a reality.
This is truly an exciting time for the Corvette.

The Camorevette!
Wooh!
The new C8 reminds me of the Mullet - Corvette in the front - Camaro in the back!
Introducing! - The "Camorevette"
Party on Dudes!

To the naysayers, sorry you don't like the c8. You are obviously "in the know". You have seen the final design pictures. Unfortunately, the rest of us haven't. LOL

I felt the exact same way about the C7 until I saw it in person and thought it looked great. I won't make that mistake again and will wait to see a C8 in person once its released.

C8 should be named differently and made as special limited edition with only 500 available worldwide and starting price of $300,000 + options!
C7 should continue to sell as current model!
Just my opinion to make it truly special car!

GM could have a halo model although that would be a money loser. Ford GT has a history. GM doesn't have that and who would pay for a 300000 Chevy car when you can get a 720s.
now I would love to see a 570s competitor from GM. Something close to the 200k range maybe under Cadillac with great performance, exotic looks and lamborghinis doors...that way I can dream as little higher. I would have bought a 570s which would have put kids college fund on hiatus but their reliability and not being able to fix at any of the 1000s of dealers in North America swayed me towards the z06 at half the cost. Happy with the purchase. Car is trying to kill me every day......I love the power but the torque is just crazy and a little high for what the chassis and tires can handle. I haven't trusted the traction control fully yet as I am scared so I am easy on the throttle. One day maybe on a track for a large parking lot without poles I can test its efficiency
Or sign up for the spring mountain training..

Looking forward to the C8.
C7 never did it for me, too edgy, almost spastic. I hope they tone the edges down a bit and make it more burly/refined/elegant looking.

Only ignorant, bitter, negative, jealous or just haters go all in on their negativity on a product that has yet come out! The wise & rational hold out their final thoughts till they see the final product!

None of us have seen the c8 design yet. All we have seen is what gm wants us to see.
for all those that hate change or hate corvettes in general...take your pick of course they dont like the c8...
this happens with each new generation gefore the official release..
those that love their c7 s or c6 s or c5s so much they often times cant allow themselves to find another corvette as good..
then the offical uncovered corvette is shown and then tested...the rave reviews are often irrefutable and then these often negative opinions convert to positive over time..
since the internet forums there pretty much has been 3 generations of corvettes and it hapoens each time...
its actually a fascinating study in human behavior, .

I am looking forward to the reveal. No matter what it looks like, there are going to be split opinions on various design aspects of the car.
My final judgement will be when I can pull up right next to one in my GS and compare.
