No
Go look at the picture and ask yourself why they would test the car with things that could never make production, such as the incredible low ground height, the extreme rear aero, the full cage, all the telemetry sensors used in GTLM, the quick remove body panels, and on and on and on. If they were "disguising" the wide body with a bunch of race car bits that can't make production, you can't accurately test it on a race track, so it is pointless.
What is not pointless, is to, test , lets say, the actual race car on an actual race track, with all the race car bits that we know it would have, and an actual race car driver present...

Oh yes, the all new Corvette Z06 Z07, available with Michelin Racing slicks, dive planes that can cut your ankles in half, and a newly-relocated PDR camera on the roof.
Nails on a chalkboard aren't brutal enough for you? Well, you'll get a kick(in the pocketbook) out of the sounds made when your carbon fiber splitter and diffuser scrapes on every reflector on the road!
Got a flat tire? Good luck getting that center-lock wheel off, let alone finding a $500 racing slick in stock on a Wednesday in Wichita.
Best of all, our new carbon fiber mirrors save 1.5lbs! Just don't park anywhere, ever, as the mirrors stick out 3 inches past the car and don't fold in...
lol, y'all crack me up

Regardless, it is very possible that the Z06 styling will match C8R. The C8R is much better looking than the current guesses re the looks of the C8. It appears to be much more aerodynamic (especially the much lower front hood, etc.) which will become an important issue given the higher potential top speed of the Z06.

It looks like everyone has their panties in a wad. Maybe he doesn't spend all his time in a retirement home endlessly posting on the Corvette Forum. Some people do have lives. C8R is probably not that far off the basic shape of a future wide body.

That C8R is beautiful. The C8 mules are not, here's hoping a lot of fat is trimmed off of them.
